Welcome to Ivory Wilderness, a true pioneers camp and one of the earliest established in the surrounding wilderness ( Click here to see lodge pictures below in gallery ). From this intimate lodge, you can connect with nature and times gone past. Completely unwind in one of six luxury, Kruger-style rondavels each onlooking the Klaserie river and with expansive views of the bush beyond. Each rondavel is decorated with their own personal touch of Old Africa where you can enjoy a perfect blend of rustic authenticity and modern luxuries. Each room is also equipped with an en suite bathroom that includes a shower and bathtub for you to fully relax and appreciate the tranquility of the wilderness. Enjoy a peaceful night's sleep from the comfort of our Egyptian cotton linens, where you can drift off listening to the ambient sounds of the African night. Each rondavel is also equipped with fans and power sockets. Four of the six rooms are equipped with air-conditioners, subject to availability, eco charge applies

Our pool overlooks the Klaserie river, another perfect spot to unwind. From here, a phenomenal amount of birds can be seen and heard in the surrounding trees, along with herds of wild game visiting the waters below. Enjoy listening to the sounds of the African night encircling your fire. The lodge is located roughly 1.5 hours from the closest airport, Hoedspruit East Gate airport and is also in proximity to a private airstrip for those wishing for a more direct route into the wilderness. Helicopter transfer's are also available upon request and subject to availability also at an additional charge.
